Program Description The NSC Youthskate program is a program that provides an learning environment for an increasing number of older youth that want to learn to skate or improve their skating skills but do not want to be in the same program as the younger children in Canskate. While the average age is Canskate is 6 years of age, the average age in the Youthskate program is 12 years of age.
The Youthskate program will teach the same basic skills as in the Canskate program but teaching methods will be designed for the older child and incentives will also be tailored to these participants.
